Ndombasi bigThe Kent Crusaders have signed Dodecker Ndombasi from the London Eastside Eagles. Ndombasi played for the club in its first season in Division 2, in 2006-07, but was forced to retire midway through the season because of recurring back injuries.

Two comfortable Crusader wins in Plymouth against the Cannons and Raiders take the Kent side to fourth place in the table, four places higher than before the weekend. Because of injuries and personal commitments it was a short-handed Kent side which travelled, but the nine players put on a convincing display as they got two important road wins.

Haris Three Pointer

A Barrage of three pointers from James Harris helped silence the Plymouth Majon Cannons Saturday in Plymouth. Harris tied Paul Jessop’s record for most three pointers made in a game with eight. Seven of the long distance makes came in the second half, at the Crusaders put on an offensive and defensive show with a 53-25 second half showing.

The Kent Crusaders couldn’t complete a furious fourth quarter come-back and had their four game winning streak halted by a two point loss at Colchester Hornets.

The Kent Crusaders are looking for their winning streak to continue when they visit the Colchester Hornets. The Crusaders have won four straight since they lost three games to open league play and a win against fifth place Colchester will see them advance from their current seventh place in the table.

The Kent Crusaders are looking for their three game winning streak to continue at home against the Leicester Warriors this Saturday in their last home game before Christmas. After beating then-undefeated NEWI and bottom teams University of Birmingham and Team Northumbria Crusaders are hoping to advance in the table with a win against fourth place Leicester.

Damian v. MetsThe Kent Crusaders lost their fourth straight game Saturday as they went down 91-69 to London Mets.

“We lost Simon Mitchell and Robbie Parker to fouls and injury early in the game”, said Crusaders coach Mads Olesen, “We were just not able to break down the Met’s defence without them”.
