Men’s Playoff Battle is On

Having won three of their last four games Crusaders are now in the coveted eighth position that will qualify them for the playoffs, but they are in competition with Northumbria, Birmingham A’s, and Glyndwr Nets for three spots in the playoffs. Any of these teams can end up in sixth to ninth place, depending on how the remaining games play out, and Crusaders will still have to rely on other results, even if they win their remaining two games.

The Medway Park Crusaders beat Plymouth Marjon 85-67 in a game that was decided by the third quarter to move into the playoff spots for the first time this season.

9:00-10:30 Men (Show court)

Saturday with NO Men’s Home Game
9:00-10:00 Under 11
10:00-11:00 Under 14 - Non National League
11:00-1:00 Under 14
1:00-3:00 Under 16
3:00-5:00 Under 18
Junior Games arranged as needed within those slots

Crusaders dismantle Westminster

The Medway Park Crusaders put on a dominant defensive performance as they beat league number four Westminster Warriors 89-69 at home. Crusaders laid the foundation for the win by keeping the Warriors to only 26 points in the first half and then rode Brad Smith’s 39 points to the victory.

Crusaders split double header, Vear ejected

The Medway Park Crusaders beat the NEWI Nets in a close game Saturday and looked poised to move into a playoff spot in the Sunday game against Birmingham A’s, but suffered a heavy defeat as two players fouled out and coach James Vear got ejected, earning him a suspension.
