The Body and Mind Kent Crusaders will have plenty to do this Saturday if they are to come away with a win when Cardiff Celts visit Canterbury. Despite being newcomers to the league after promotion from EBL 3 last season, Cardiff have made a big impression in division 2 this year and hold an impressive record of 9 and 2.

Crusaders lost both games against Cardiff earlier this year by margins of 18 and 9 points. So an almost full strength Kent side with home court advantage will look to settle the score with their Welsh opponents. A win would be another huge step for Crusaders as they look to climb the league table, currently sitting in 9th place Crusaders are only one place away from a playoff spot.

Head Coach Mads Olesen recognised the importance and difficulty of this game,”Cardiff are a very good team as they’ve shown this season. It’s going to take a massive effort from the guys to get a win this weekend, but it’s something that were more than capable of doing. Only losing by 9 in one of the games in Cardiff a win is a definite possibility if we play to our potential and get a big home crowd behind us.”
