UPDATED The Body and Mind Kent Crusaders take on NEWI Nets in National League Division 2 play this Saturday December 15 at 7.30 at Body & Mind.

The Northeastern Wales side come to Canterbury with no league wins so far in the season, but Crusaders coach Mads Olesen is expecting a competitive team: “NEWI has played together as a team for years, and the reports from around the league is that they have been downright unlucky not to get some wins. Also, with our record of four losses and only one win we can’t afford take anyone lightly.”

Robbie Parker is still trying out for a professional team in Spain and will not be available for the game. Dan Garrad is ready after an ankle injury. “Dan has emerged as a key defender for us with his size, so it’s good to have him back. Robbie’s scoring is something that opens up the court for everyone else, but this just means everyone else must pick up the slack”, says Olesen.
