Steve Findley MugThe Crusaders travel to Plymouth for a Patrons Cup game that will have no bearing on the competition as Crusaders have already won the South Pool and have secured a home semi final in the competition.

The teams met three times last season with Crusaders taking a home victory, 81-67 in the Patrons Cup. In Division 2 play the Raiders took an easy home win right after Christmas, as Crusaders had several players missing. In the reversed fixture the Crusaders went up 20 points early in the game, but Plymouth clawed back to take a 2 point victory.

Crusaders’ forward Steve Findley is doubtful for the game with a bone chip in his dislocated finger. Sam Betts has played limited minutes in a couple of the Patrons Cup wins, and he looks like he’s almost back to full health after his knee surgeries.
