Kent Crusaders Basketball Club

Kent Crusaders are a basketball club based in Gillingham with a pathway from Under 8s right through to elite 16-19 academies.

The club has been recognised at the Medway Sport Awards, winning the gold award for Junior Club of the year 2024, the silver award for Junior team of the year and broze award for coach of the year.

The coaches involved are highly qualified, with a wealth of experience from beginner level through to national team and professional coaching.

The philosophy of the club is to teach the game of basketball and through that educate young people on life skills that will help them throughout their journey i.e. hard work, commitment, teamwork, communication, accountability.

We run a number of teams and programmes including mini ballers, boys and girls junior national league teams and elite academies.
